Cracker Barrel
I love Cracker Barrel's beans 'n' greens, laced with pork, served with sides of onion and chutney. The gun over the fireplace reminded me an animal died for that meal.

The weapon, surrounded by antique memorabilia, also reminded me of a 19th century Amish gunsmith in my family tree.

  1. I am glad that Lancaster doesn't have a Cracker Barrel! The food is soooo good but full of carbs, sugar, and everything that is impossible to pass by! It is better for me to only eat there once in a great while! If I lived the physically hard working life of my ancestors, I could eat there!

    1. Yes, they have traditional comfort food (and atmosphere) down pat, for those of us who grew up in the South, or on the edges of it.
