The Christmas tree in the upper sketch was ornamented only with pine cones, a third of the way through December. Was the decorating finished, or was more to come?
Both of these sketches may have been better balanced if I hadn't cropped identifying details.

A few weeks ago, we enjoyed a meal amid the fun retro decor of the new Cap City Diner.
Parking was free across the street, at the Longshore Garage.

Quick lunch at Whole Foods. Iced tea and a shared slice of pepperoni pizza. Most things on the expensive side, but colorful environment and good place for a few vitamins--and Noi Sirius chocolate!
